Series G – Helical Industrial Gearboxes

The Series G helical industrial gearboxes have been introduced to meet the requirements of today’s demanding applications in the medium and heavy-duty sector of the power transmission market. Innovative modular design technology has minimised manufactured part count to maximize availability of product.

Gear tooth geometry design combines maximum efficiency with high load carrying capacity and minimal noise generation. Serviceability of the product was key in the design of the Series G range allowing easy maintenance for long life and reliability, which are synonymous with our field reputation.

Available as right angle or parallel shaft arrangement, with solid or hollow output sleeves. With optional integral backstop.

A range of motor adaptors are available for alignment free motor fitment, units can also be supplied fully assembled on a fabricated steel baseplate.

Cast iron case available as standard, with SG iron and fabricated steel cases available against special order.

 


Series H – Inline Industrial Gearboxes

Series H InLine industrial gearboxes are available in in-line and right angle versions in single, double, triple and quadruple reduction gear stages.

The modular design and construction of the Series H offers many engineering and performance benefits including a high degree of interchange ability of parts and sub assemblies. This in turn provides considerable economies of production while maintaining the highest standard of component integrity.

Series E – Industrial Reducer EON & EOS

The Series E Industrial gear unit is designed to meet the requirements of the most demanding applications in the medium and heavy duty sectors of the power transmission market. The modern design and construction of the Series E offers many engineering and performance benefits including higher torque and thermal ratings, with a high degree of interchangeability of components. The gear housing has been designed to withstand the normal forces whilst reducing weight to the ideal level leading to most optimal industrial gear unit solution available.

An unrivalled depth of application expertise stretching back over 150 years has enabled us to introduce the most optimum solution for your drive requirements: Series E.

Available with dedicated foot mounted case Version N, which gives the optimum torque/kg, or with multimount case Version S giving flexibility on mounting options.


 

Series J – SALA gear

Series J is a part of long line of power transmission drives which are known for their top of the quality design and technical solution, along with the use of high quality materials and components. Their robust design along with high gear and bearing lifetime make it a perfect solution for all types of low or heavy duty applications. With the V belt adaptable solution as a standard option it helps protect the gearing from extreme shock loading and ability to easily change speeds.

Series BD – Screw jacks

Our Screw Jacks with their wide torque range and our extensive experience assembling complete packages ensures we can help you solve your difficult linear motion design challenges with our screw jacks solutions.

Screw Jacks are the ideal product to push, pull, lift, lower and position loads of anything from a couple of kilograms to hundreds of tonnes.

Many of our customers prefer our Series BD Screw Jack in preference to hydraulic or pneumatic jacks because of their greater precision and consistency.


Series M – Helical In line geared motor

Series M helical inline geared motors and reducers provide a very efficient and compact drive solution to meet your requirements.

The Series M geared motor range meets most drive requirements up to 160KW with a maximum output torque of 20000 Nm.

It takes advantage of being developed from many years of accumulated design expertise, together with the use of high quality materials and components.

The end result is a series of speed reducing and geared motors offering high load carrying capacity, high efficiency, quiet running and reliability. These units are manufactured and assembled from a family of modular kits for distributor friendliness thereby minimizing inventory and making the product readily available.

Can be supplied as double, triple, quadruple and quintuple reduction units in flange or foot mount execution. Available as motorised, motor ready (to accept clients own IEC/ NEMA motor) or as a reducer with a keyed input shaft.

All gear cases are cast iron.


Series C – Helical worm geared motor

Series C right angle helical worm geared motors and reducers provide a highly efficient and compact solution to meet requirements up to 45 kW with maximum output torque capacity of 10,000Nm.

The Series C range of helical/ worm units forms a part of a long line of power transmission drives which are known for their top quality design and technical solution, along with the use of high quality materials and components.

The 8 sizes of this type of geared motors and reducers offer high load carrying capacity, increased efficiency, quiet running and reliability.

These units are manufactured and assembled from a family of modular kits for distributor friendliness thereby minimizing inventory and making the product readily available.

Available with plug in output shaft and bolt on flanges, add flexibility to the range

Can be supplied as double, triple, quadruple and quintuple reduction units in flange or foot or shaft mount  execution. Available as motorised, motor ready (to accept clients own IEC/ NEMA motor) or as a reducer with a keyed input shaft.

Series F – Shaft Mounted Helical geared motor

Series F geared motors and reducers offer a shaft mounted solution with an integral torque reaction bracket.

The units are also available with rubber torque bushes, output flanges, output shafts and KIBO® sleeves to allow for trouble free maintenance.

These units are manufactured and assembled from a family of modular kits for distributor friendliness thereby minimizing inventory and making the product readily available.

Can be supplied as double, triple, quadruple and quintuple reduction units in flange or shaft mount execution. Available as motorised, motor ready (to accept clients own IEC/ NEMA motor) or as a reducer with a keyed input shaft.

Series K – Helical bevel geared motor

Series K – Right angle helical bevel geared motors have high load carrying capacities, increased efficiency over worm units, quiet running and reliability.

The Series K geared motor is designed with integral cast feet for base or end mounting and can be offered with single or double extended output shafts, also available with hollow shaft.

Units are also available shaft mounted or with output flanges and are available for mounting horizontally or vertically. The units can also be offered with a bolt on torque reaction bracket.

These units are manufactured and assembled from a family of modular kits for distributor friendliness thereby minimizing inventory and making the product readily available.

Can be supplied as triple and quintuple reduction units in flange, foot or shaft mount execution. Available as motorised, motor ready (to accept clients own IEC/ NEMA motor) or as a reducer with a keyed input shaft.

All gear cases are cast iron.


Series BS – Compact Worm Gear

Series BS worm gear units have a compact design with high torque capacity. Series BS can be sold as a gearbox or complete geared motor. With High Torque capacity in a Compact Design, these units allows better utilization of machine space and prove to be very reliable in heavy duty applications.

For tough applications such as wash down environments (e.g. Food & Beverage industry), we guarantee that our Environmental Worm Gear Solution will not peel. This solution which has been designed with smooth surfaces allows you to have anti-corrosive protection similar to a stainless steel gearbox at a much lower cost. One of the main advantages of these Compact Worm units is that they are lubricated for life and have proven to be leak free.

We have the capability to design, engineer and supply special gearboxes to replace any brand of gearbox, whether current or obsolete with the minimum of modification and production downtime.

Utilising a wealth of experience and knowledge our company is able to engineer gearboxes on a like-for-like’ basis with the option to increase power and torque whilst occupying the same footprint as the existing gearbox.

Drop in replacement gearboxes can be designed for mounting in the precise configuration of the original gearboxes, but incorporate technology that ensures they require less maintenance and are easier to maintain for whole life cost benefits.

With the ability to engineer gearboxes to the exact current gearbox specifications, the main obstacle to upgrading is eliminated as the new gearboxes occupy the exact same footprint and minimise downtime and costly plant layout modifications.

Series P – Planetary Gears

The Planetary gear range takes advantage of our many years of accumulated design expertise, together with the use of high quality materials and components.

The end result is a high quality series of planetary gear reducers and geared motors offering a high load carrying capacity, high efficiency, quiet running and reliable drive solution.

Roloid Gear Pumps

Roloid Gear Pumps are suitable for pumping a wide variety of liquids which have some lubricating property. Radicon’s Systems Engineers will gladly assist with your choice of pump and help with its installation design. Taking care over filtration and pipework will ensure that the pump is put successfully to work giving trouble free operation.


Elflex Pin & Bush – Flexible couplings

Flexible couplings transmit torque from one shaft to another and are particularly useful in cases where a limited amount of misalignment of the shaft is unavoidable. Elflex flexible couplings are cushioned drive type couplings that transmit the torque through rubber bushes which have an excellent capacity to absorb shocks.

A barrel shape of the bushes guarantees a uniform distribution of loads, even in case of misalignment, thus limiting the bending moment resulting from the radial force on the pins. Bushes are composed of a NBR element containing natural rubber. The hardness of the rubber element is 72°Shore A


Elign Gear Couplings

A Flexible Coupling is used to join two rotating shafts for efficient transmission of mechanical power. Although the shafts are accurately aligned at the time of installation, it is likely that during the operation the alignment may get disturbed due to setting of foundation, thermal expansion, shaft deflection, wearing out of other parts, improper maintenance and many more reasons.

Due to this unavoidable misalignment occurring during the operation a gear coupling provides a better solution to compensate or minimize the effect of misalignment (Radial, Axial and combined Radial & Axial). The Benzlers Radicon Flexible gear Couplings (Elign) are ideally suited for wide range of application in the entire field of drive technology.

The ELIGN gear coupling range is first and foremost dependable and provides quality efficient operation in high torque applications. ELIGN Gear coupling consists of hubs with multi crowned teeth at Flank, tip and teeth.

ELIGN Gear coupling is a simple, compact and light unit for transmitting the same power when compared to the couplings of similar capacity available in the market.  It is manufactured out of tested quality forged carbon steel and passes through a number of quality checks.


Nylicon Gear Couplings

Radicon Nylicon Gear Couplings are able to compensate for all types of shaft misalignment. They are easy to assemble and require no maintenance which ensures they provide a high quality service in the most inhospitable environments and require absolutely no maintenance.

Type 600, are available in three sizes and are ideal for small power drives with bores sizes up to 55mm diameter and a basic rated torque up to 463 Nm.
Thermosetting plastic sleeves provide non-conductive assemblies. Staggered internal teeth ensure uniform loading and an internal central buffer ring between the two hubs promotes axial location giving protection to the gear teeth.

They compensate for all types of shaft misalignment and allow a small amount of end float. Nylicon couplings are easy to assemble and require no maintenance giving low cost reliable service under the most arduous conditions of weather, atmospheric pollution or humidity.


Cone Ring Couplings

Cone Ring couplings offer vastly improved torsional flexibility with a limited freedom of axial movement because of their series of rubber ‘conical section’ rings.

Types 611,  613, are available with bore sizes up to 170mm diameter and a basic rated torque up to 23500 Nm. They accommodate all types of shaft misalignment met in normal operation, being a development of the old pin and bush design that it resembles in its simplicity and ease of dismantling. It differs fundamentally in the way its resilient material behaves by substituting the parallel bush with a series of rubber ‘conical section’ rings.This provides greatly improved torsional flexibility together with a limited freedom of axial movement of one connected shaft relative to the other.

Flexible Cone Ring couplings are also available with taper bushes type 613 with bore sizes up to 125mm diameter, providing ease of assembly and dismantling together with flexibility to change shaft sizes by changing only the taper bushes.


Series AJ – Junior Worm Gear

Our series A junior worm gear range is available in 6 sizes with a capacity of 12 kW/ 950Nm. Covering a centre distance of 28mm to 86mm.

All units are designed with hollow output bores, output shafts can be fitted allowing handing to be changed without dismantling the unit. Double extended output shafts are also available, along with a range of output flanges

Series A Junior gives a choice of 10 ratios from 5/1 to 70/1 and important features include high efficiencies and load carrying capacities combined with long life and reliability. All units are lubricated for life to reduce maintenance to a minimum.


Series AM – Mid Worm Gear

Our fully metric range of Series AM worm gear units are based on a single universal case for each size, giving a high degree of common parts and interchange ability.

Under-driven, over-driven and vertical types provide a choice of shaft arrangements in meeting the requirements of a wide variety of applications in the medium power range up to 75 kW.

All units are designed with hollow output bore, output shaft can be fitted allowing handing to be changed without dismantling the unit. Series A Mid Range gives a choice of 12 standard ratios from 5/1 to 70/1 and important features include high efficiencies and load carrying capacities combined with long life and reliability in service.


Series ER – Heavy Duty Worm Gear

The ER Series of worm gear units are direct replacements for the David Brown (Radicon) Series A heavy duty worm gear units. All critical dimensions and product quality is the same and the ER heavy duty worm gear range is available in the following types:

  • Underdriven ER – U
  • Overdriven ER – O
  • Vertical ER – V

The units provide power capacity up to 320 Kw in 4 sizes with worm gear centres from 10 inch to 17 inch. All worm gear units are offered with a choice of 11 standard ratios from 5 – 1 up to 70 – 1.

The high quality design and engineering of the ER worm gear range makes the product an ideal solution for the most arduous of industries and applications.
